Infrared Temperature

Infrared Temperature is the measurement of the emitted infrared energy being radiated off the surface of an object.

This energy can be measured and displayed as either a temperature (infrared Thermometer) or a two dimensional image in which the temeratures are displaed as colors (thermal imaging camera).

If spot temperature checks are desired, an infrared thermometer is used.

If a thermal picture is needed to look for temperature related problems in a large area, a thermal imaging camera is used.
