A broad selection of meters that test phase rotation of energized power lines up to and including 600VAC. Typically, three color coded leads (labeled A,B,C) are identified at the panel which then indicate the phase sequence of incoming power.

In addition, some of the meters also test motor rotation, in which smaller motor leads are connected to a de-energized motor to run a rotation test, which ensures that the motor is running in the desired operating direction.
